De-Cluttering/Organizing
What is De-Cluttering?
Clutter is anything unused, unloved, unrepaired. Too much stuff in too small a space can make your entire life feel cramped and stagnant.
De-Cluttering is releasing all that no longer serves you. And it’s an act of courage! You are letting go of the old. The old stuff, the old you.
Why De-Clutter?
We have a relationship with--an attachment to--everything in our space. Each item, from furniture to accessories to junk mail, is either raising your energy level and mood – or lowering it. You can dramatically improve your life by releasing everything that is draining you. De-Cluttering has a powerful cleansing effect on our bodies, minds, feelings, and relationships!
How do I De-Clutter?
The best way to De-Clutter is the same way you’d make love or prepare a delicious meal -- consciously!
Set aside the time you’ll need.
Have all the materials on hand you will need.
Turn on your favorite music and begin.
As you look at each item, ask
- Do I love you?
- Do I use you?
- Do you make my heart sing?
- Is it my highest choice to have you in my space?
With each item you give or throw away, affirm “I release this in order to create space for _________ (your highest choice).”
As you clean and organize, get into the body-sense of having your space filled with the exact items you choose to enjoy!
